Description:
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for new product development and production support for Particle Counting products. In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Developing Design Requirements and Verification Protocols for new product development.
• Supporting Production by identifying and qualifying alternate components for those that are end of life or are otherwise unavailable.
• Designing mixed analog and digital circuits.
• Designing systems employing microcontrollers and programmable logic devices.
• Designing and implementing test rigs and software for design verification and functional tests of electronics modules. The required qualifications for the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10 years of experience or master’s degree with 5 years of experience in product development and product engineering support roles.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and EMC design principles and experience in mitigating issues of both.
• Hands on experience designing, assembling, and debugging lab-built prototypes.
• Experience developing embedded code.
• Experience working on a team with multiple disciplines to create new products and solving problems identified in production and fielded instruments. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Dealing with design changes in a structured design control/change environment for medical devices.
• Using Cadence OrCad and Allegro for schematic capture and board layout. • Programming with Python, C/C , Verilog and/or VHDL, and LabView.
